BEIRUT -- Israeli drones on Monday carried out ten air raids on several villages and towns in southern Lebanon, killing one and wounding three others, Lebanese military sources told Xinhua.
Meanwhile, the Israeli heavy artillery fired more than 250 shells on 27 Lebanese towns and villages on the borderline, causing material damage, according to the sources who asked to remain anonymous. (Lebanon-Israel-Border Clash)

UNITED NATIONS -- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Monday foresees that a strengthened Palestinian Authority would assume responsibilities in Gaza after the current crisis and international players would work toward a two-state solution.

ABUJA -- At least nine bodies were recovered from a recent boat mishap in Nigeria's central state of Niger, local authorities said Monday.
Salihu Garba, head of the Niger State Emergency Management Agency, told reporters in the capital of Minna, that 22 people were rescued unhurt following the incident in the Shiroro local government area Thursday. (Nigeria-Boat Accident-Death Toll)

MOSCOW -- Russia has delivered another 27 tons of humanitarian aid to civilians in the Gaza Strip, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement Monday.
It said that an Il-76 plane carrying the aid had already arrived at the airport in El-Arish, which is the nearest Egyptian airport to the Gaza Strip. (Russia-Gaza-Aid)
