Facebook users report Whitney Houston's death as that of Oprah

Europe Sun (ANI) Monday 13th February, 2012

Facebook users mistook Oprah Winfrey for the recently deceased Whitney Houston, leading many to question if the US chat show host had passed away.

The 48-yaer-old Houston was found dead in her hotel room at the Beverly Hilton on Saturday.

According to BuzzFeed, several profile pages carried emotional messages such as 'RIP Whitney Houston', only to have an image of Winfrey underneath, news.com.au reported.

Others thought the showbiz world suffered a double loss with both Winfrey and Houston passing on the same day.

"I can't believe both Oprah and Whitney have died. RIP, fly with the angels," said Facebook user Jeff Mather. (ANI)
